I agree the leasing office is rude and they are horrible at keeping on top of things. They take forever to fix things or even let the maintanence crew know something needs to be fixed. We dont even deal w/them anymore, my husband will find a maintanence guy on his own and they immediately fix the problem. The maintenence guys are very nice and friendly. Its the leasing office that are complete tools. Its very hard to find visitors parking, but every unit has its own garage and there's plenty of parking on the street. I've known of 2 car breakins, one was inside the complex parking. The people who were burglarized left CDs and electronics in PLAIN view. I think happens even in the nicer, higher end places. My cousin lives in the Bridgeport Condos in Valencia and both his wife's and roommate's car were STOLEN! We did have a drunk white trash neighbor living upstairs who would play loud music until 3AM, but we called the police and it hasn't happened since. The neighboorhood watch leader lives in the same building as us. We seldom see kids playing outside, but I agree there are a lot of blindspots and I wouldnt let my child play in the street. The apartments are way better than the one's in downtown Newhall and Canyon Country, and for the price it's ok. The units are pretty spacious, central heat/ac, w/d in unit, private patio, etc. The trash is picked up I think twice a week and the grounds are well kept...at least in my area. We dont plan on being here for long until we buy our house. Good for people looking for an affordable decent place.
