(Negative) There are ROACHES, cats, possums and skunks everywhere. The biggest problem are the roaches. The exterminator (Western) sprays outside the apartments every week. If they spray inside your apartment the roaches go away for a week and come right back because they're in the walls. Even if you put down roach bait and spray roach spray it doesn't work. My house is relatively clean and they're always in my kitchen or crawling out of the wall heater across the living room. Management will admit there is a "presence" in the buildings but refuse to fumigate the buildings. Management should also get trash dumpsters that can be locked so the possums won't get in the trash. FYI don't take your trash out at night. You will see an entire family of possums in the dumpsters and they don't run from people. Even the managers don't allow pets anymore, people still have them and the apartments smell like a zoo. The pool and jacuzzi are dirty and needs to be professionally cleaned. The laundry rooms need updated washers and dryers. The elevators need to be updated and smell like urine all the time. New apartments are being built next door so you will hear a lot of noise throughout the day and even some weekends. Dust from the construction will get on your car and in your apartment so keep your apartment windows closed. The walls are thin, so you hear everything. There is no on site maintenance or on site management. If you have an emergency you have to call the emergency line (manager's number). If that manager doesn't answer good luck. (Positive) The complex is relatively quiet considering there are a lot of kids. Neighbors keep to themselves. The amenities are nice and the rent is affordable. (Community) Kaiser Hospital is down the street. Accessible to the 110 FWY and buses. Can't wait to move!
