Resident 2008 - 2009

4/13/2009

The Montecito has the feel of living in a house instead of an apartment, but don't let that fool you. Management makes a tremendous impact on you overall experience. The Montecito would be worth the expensive rent it charges IF: Management was responsive to renter needs, the features advertised were actually the features you get...gourmet kitchens not complete, limited access to the theatre during non-business hours when most have time to watch movies. Additionally, the walls are paper-thin you will hear every step your neighbors take, the entry gates to the garage do not open easily with the remotes issued. The visitor lot is not convenient to the main entryway as well as secluded which poses a security concern for visitors. The front ground floor entry is not accessible by tenants. Postings of occupants is not current so visitors do not know how to reach who they are visiting when they arrive. Appliances are maintained at the expense of the renter - unheard of. Lots of industrial traffic so the luxury feel doesn't match the peace you could have were it better sound insulated.
