This has been a nightmare from the beginning. It started when they blew me off when I scheduled a tour. I really like the complex and the layout of my apartment but I am beginning to wonder if I made a mistake. My drama continues with me putting in my application and that apartment that I was told "was mine" was actually rented to someone else. They found me another unit and quoted me the same price over the phone but because I did not get it in writing they would not honor it so I am now paying $100 more a month than I was supposed to. I didn't get my correct lease until 4 days before I moved in. I was told it was a system issue. I dropped off my first month rent, maintenance deposit and it literally took them 3 weeks to even acknowledge that they got it. Meanwhile on my "move in" day the cleaning lady was still here at 2pm in the afternoon and it still wasn't really cleaned. Then on the following Friday after my move in, I received a demand notice telling me that I had better pay up or they would evict me. Now keep in mind, you LITERALLY have to stalk these people because no one is ever around, they never answer the phone and rarely answer emails. The tell you that they will follow up with you and it is crickets. I was lucky enough to actually get to speak to someone in person about my demand letter and she did confirm they have my money. However, I have been here for less than a month and my resident portal still shows that I have not paid my September rent. Now it appears that they are asking me for another months rent as deposit. RIDICULOUS!!! I called in a maintenance request for my furnace not working correctly and was told someone would be out on Monday. That was 5 days ago. The management of this place is beyond words, if I did such a bad job where I work, trust me I would no longer have a job. I realize that COVID has put people into unique situations, but lack of communication and incorrect communication should never be affected by that. I would think twice before coming here.
