Resident 2014

7/5/2014

This apartment is terrible. Here is why. While living at the apartment I had many times that I had ordered packages to be delivered which, as packages do, came in the middle of the day. Naturally since I am an average human being I was at work from 9-6 so the package went to the clubhouse, which is only open from 10 -5. On the website it says its open 10-6 but literally every single time I went in at 5 pm on a weekday everyone was gone and the doors were locked. So I had to wait till the weekend almost every single time. Next lets talk about their -------- repair policy. While living in this apartment our water heater stopped working. We put in a work order on a Monday evening on the website. our water heater stayed in disrepair for an entire week. even with calling every single day to remind them we had no hot water they still took their sweet time in fixing it and even when they finally did come repair it, it was still broken so it took another 3 days to get it fixed properly. The trash. Every single weekend the trashmen or whoever is in charge of the trash compacter is gone and the trash outside the dumpster piles up to a horrifying degree. I mean literal mountains of trash. Amenities, they have a dog park but the dog park is just a hill with a fence around it so every single time it rains or any kind of weather it all pools at the bottom of the hill making another swimming pool for you to use when the real pool is closed. also if they try to tell you that they are working on fixing the security gates at the front and side entrance its a lie we lived there for 8 months and not once was anyone even seen trying to fix them. Then as we were moving out of the apartment (bought a house) we paid $2500 to break our lease early. after paying that fee the tacked on rediculose charges for things that never happened. Such as charging us $50 for a missing co2 detector that was "included" with our apartment which we never actually had but we had no idea to look for it when we moved in so we couldn't prove that we didn't have it. (BTW if you do rent from this joke of a business a 1 bedroom should have 3 co2 detectors) We also found out while moving out that our water bill increased from $10 a month to $45 a month because you are paying to water the ground which they water constantly rain or shine. When attempting to talk with anyone in the apartment about any of this listed above we were essentially blown off and pushed to "other people" who conveniently weren't there at the time and could never be bother to answer the phone or email. TL:DR This place is a rip off the staff is rude the experience is horrible.
