So far, so good. I moved in this weekend. The leasing staff was very helpful. One thing that didn't come up before I moved was that the property is pre-wired for fiber optic with Century Link. I had scheduled Comcast without realizing it. After weighing options it turned out fine, but I would have preferred to know ahead of time. The apartment is beautiful and has a ton of natural light. It was clean-ish.... with some exceptions, particularly the kitchen vent (that I apparently can't turn off??) and the water heater room attached to the garage. There appears to be some critter droppings in that water heater room. I haven't seen anything running around yet... I guess time will tell with that. I've asked for both items to be addressed via my move-in condition for and am waiting for a response. Also, the former tenant must have been a smoker because there were many cigarette end left in the garage. I'm not sure what kind of cleaning was done before I moved in but it was definitely lack-luster. All that being said... After I cleaned, overall this place is fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better space or location. The sidewalks surrounding the complex offer beautiful views and a nice breath of fresh air. The landscaping is well maintained. I've seen a lot of dogs in the complex and haven't seen any issues with people not picking up properly (which is a great change)! So far, it has also been very quiet. I woke up the first morning to the sound of birds chirping. I'm hoping to get some assistance with the aforementioned items, but I am very optimistic about living here.
