SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

Hello Alex – Thank you for taking the time to provide us this feedback. We make every effort to be honest and upfront with our customers at all times. As you know, our company recently began managing Marquis Castle Pines, which caused this confusion. According to a conversation you recently had with our team, you explained that prior to our company taking over the community you spoke to an employee of the former management company about moving and they told you a written notice wasn't required and your termination fee could be paid over a three month period. Unfortunately, our team had no knowledge of this verbal agreement as it wasn't in notated anywhere for us, and that process is not in accordance with the lease contract you signed. We are happy to allow you to pay your move-out charges over a three month period as you originally planned, however the charges on you Final Account Statement are accurate in accordance with the lease agreement. We are also disappointed to hear that you do not agree with the move out charges you incurred. However we want to make sure we are providing the best home possible to the next resident just as we did with you. These charges were due to the cleaning and repairs needed to your home, that exceeded normal wear and tear, and we provided photos and descriptions of the charges in your Final Account Statement. Hello! I apologize that you have had an unsatisfactory experience living at Avant. With new management we have been working to improve all amenity spaces including completely renovating the pool, coming renovations to the fitness center, and fixing the issue with the hot tub. We look forward to providing you with upgrades any chance we can!
