In every review on Facebook and Google, you'll see management's response as they broadcast how they tried to help the resident, making the resident look like the problem... But let me just say this, because I wish someone had told me: I wanted to love this place, but there is a noise issue in this building. It's not about whether you are a "noise sensitive" person. Call it poor construction or rude neighbors, the noise isn't eliminated on the 4th floor like management suggests in their responses to the negative reviews. And after many years and many complexes of apartment living, I will say that in my experience, the noise is not "normal" as some of the positive reviews suggest. My experience aside, I've heard nightmare stories from other residents about noise and the process of addressing their issues with management, security, and police.
So here's what you can expect: You're going to hear people below you, adjacent to you, outside, and especially in the halls 24 hours a day. Many of the residents act like teenagers, which is odd given the cost to live here. You'll hear parties, fights, doors slamming, stomping, walking, banging, stampedes down the hallway, girls screaming....lots of girls screaming, very loud tvs, dogs barking, 90s rap music with curse words blaring at the pool at night when the office staff isn't working.
The garage is poorly designed so two cars can't fit around a corner at opposite directions at the same time, and people drive too fast, so make sure you're ready to brake for them. Your neighbors or their friends will take your assigned parking space, and don't have anyone visit after dark, all the visitor spots are taken.
The hallways smell awful. Security is worthless. The office staff is kind, and it's clear their hands are tied when it comes to a lot of the issues. They will notify your neighbors that a complaint was made, they'll tell you to call security and the police, but they can't do anything to enforce change, so the noise will continue. As nice as the staff is, they never seem to notify you when they accept a package on your behalf. It would be nice if they put the same amount of effort into addressing the issues that are in their control as they do responding to reviews online.
