I have lived at Broadmoor for a little over 2 years and have enjoyed most of my stay. When I first moved in I have to admit I hated it. The gates were always open, trash was everywhere because everyone put trash on the sidewalks whenever they wanted,even though there were supposed to be designated days. AND there was something wrong with the pool. The pool and the gates were the ONLY reasons why I even moved in here. I couldn't wait for my lease to be finally over. My lease was almost up and everyone and I mean everyone in the office and maintenance changed. I guess corporate finally had enough complaints. When I received my renewal offer I literally laughed and gave my notice to vacate since they make you give 60 days which is ridiculous. Not only did they think I would stay, but I would actually pay more for nothing. I got to speak with the new manager and she actually listened to me. She cleaned my carpet, fixed my dishwasher and assured me that the gates were closing. I couldn't believe it when the gates closed. I was here a year and never saw this before. I had my doubts but agreed for another year. There have been a couple of issues with gates but they gave a me a code when my card didn't work. They stopped having people put their nasty trash on the sidewalks that all the animals would get into and its picked at my door now. My lease is up for renewal again and sadly I did get another increase.(but with the economy I guess this is expected.) I am going to stay only because after all the changes I am happy with where I am and its not worth the hassle of moving again. I don't want to deal with all of the headache I had to in the past. I went to management asking if I could get my carpets cleaned again since its been a year and they were more than happy to do that for me. Also they told me they have other improvements planned like the grill area, and I believe them. I'm sure these other comments are because of the old management because I have had nothing but good service since the change. I just hope things keep running smoothly.
