After years of admiring this historical complex, I moved into Cascade Park in October. The apartment had new paint, carpet, and re-surfaced counters, and it was squeaky clean! The manager, ------, is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly and customer oriented. She actually cares about the tenants. Shortly after I moved in, an issue involving a plumbing main occurred on a Sunday evening. Maintenance staff responded quickly and went "above and beyond" to fix the issue fast. The staff is AWESOME, and I could not be more impressed. Further, the complex is beautiful and has so much character, and the tenants I have met are friendly and perpetuate a sense of "community." The complex has a nice blend of professions and age groups. MOST dog owners are responsible with pet waste. Regardless, the grounds are well maintained (other than the occasional pieces of garbage blowing around because a raccoon pays a visit to the dumpster). The complex is on the Santa Fe trail and close to restaurants, cafes, and clubs. I have lived in a half a dozen apartments over the years and visited even more, and Cascade Park is the best place to live in town!
