The Experience & Performance Intelligence Quotient ("epIQ") Index measures:
over the most recent 365 day period. The index is presented as a familiar letter grade format to help renters evaluate all aspects of life at a community.
SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

Dear Anonymous, We are sorry to hear that your stay at The Park at Whispering Pines was not a positive one as we would have liked. Rents have gone up all over Colorado, and we were not an exception. We are however, working towards bettering our community. Within the past two years, we have done exterior upgrades, installed new energy efficient windows and new furnaces in each one of our apartment homes. The outside of our buildings were painted as well as the interior hallways along with new lighting installation. We do have the right of entry, however, we will always ask for permission or provide a 24hr notice unless is an emergency. We are not a pet friendly community, however, we do have to accommodate service and companion animals. At move out time, we expect the apartment home to be returned in the same condition it was given at move in, otherwise, former residents are responsible for any cleaning and/or damages chargers.
We regret that you had a negative experience with us, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Our General Manager would like to help turn your lackluster experience around. If you're willing, please contact our GM at (719) 636-3735 to discuss what we can do to help.

More upgrades to come: ** Parking lot will be cleaned, seal coated, and re-striped ** Hallways will have new carpet, painting, and new lighting ** Three new picnic areas will be added around the community plus two new gas grills around the pool area! Dear Anonymous, We appreciate your candor and would like the opportunity to remedy the issues you have brought up. If there are things you would like to discuss further, please feel free to stop in the office. Our goal is to improve the community to the best of our ability, not to cause difficulty to our residents. Since Griffis Blessing began managing this community, April 1, 2014, the community has received NEW double paned windows, furnace, and AC condenser to cut down on utility costs. We installed locks at the entry to provide privacy. If you would like an additional key please ask. We will issue another key to you at no charge. The new laundry machines are operated by a card to make it easier to use without the hassle of a jar of coins. The cards take up to $40 so that residents do not need to come into the office often. For those working during the week, we are open on Saturdays and the reload machine can be accessed during that time. We would love to discuss this in person and hopefully come to a better understanding of how we can improve your stay with us. Please stop by the office at any time convenient to you. Thank you for your candid opinion of our community. The animals allowed to live here are companion or service animals and the owners have provided the required documentation. By law we cannot refuse their admittance when the paperwork is in order. We will intervene if there are noise complaints for dogs barking no matter the circumstances. Please let the office know when this occurs and we will be happy to resolve the issue. Griffis Blessing has strict guidelines that are kept for every applicant. These qualifications must be met before an applicant is approved. Our employee policies are also held at a high standard. We stand behind our employees and the quality of service that they provide.
