Resident • 2005 - 2007 Recommended
Pros: I lived here for a few years now while attending DU. I picked this place because it's walking distance to the university, bus stops, light rail (finally came up!), and restaurants. It's about a few minutes drive to the grocery stores, movie theatre, shops, and Cherry Creek mall. I-25 is a few blocks away. I've always felt safe here even at night when I walk back from classes. Most of the tenants and others in this neighborhood are students. The tenants here are nice and quite. We have a laundry room on the 1st floor with two washers & two dryers both require coins to use. Management is great. David & Joanne (owners) are really nice, professional, and easy to contact. They come to the complex frequently to check up on things and clean. They fix everything right away when I call. <br><br>Cons: The downside of living here is that the apartments are small (about 500 sq feet), but adequate for one person, and the units don't get a lot of sunlight unless you have the corner units. Parking can be a problem. There is a parking lot adjacent to our building, but you have to pay extra per month to park there (someone else owns it). There's 5 parking spaces next to our building and there's street parking. The street parking tend to fill up quickly given that there are many apartments on this street. There's construction going on around the area so the noise can be a problem if you're around during the day.<br><br>I recommend this place.
