I just moved from the east coast to Denver, so finding the right apartment was excruciating especially since I could not really visit any of the properties ahead of time. However, I stumbled upon Highland Place. From my first contact with Krystal, I felt a true commitment to helping me find the perfect apartment and helping relieve the many stresses of moving across the country.
I chose the studio which includes a balcony, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a parking space. As this is a new property, everything is new which is brilliant. With all of the amenities (specifically parking), I did not find another property in all of LoHi or LoDo that wasn't at least $300/$400 more per month.
So, long story made short, I was expected to move in on the first of February. A week prior to that, I was made aware the property was not quite ready for move in (and by no means was this the fault of Hannah/Krystal/or the owners...just some red tape)...so, I instantly began stressing out as I thought I was going to be homeless or would have to find an expensive hotel temporarily, sublet with a stranger, or find another apartment all together. Plus, I was driving to a new city/new job/etc. and had minimal knowledge of the area. HOWEVER, with the help of Krystal/Hannah & Highland Place owners, my stresses were relieved when they put me up in a Marriot Residence Inn for an entire month! All costs covered by Highland Place...incredible...I mean who does this?! Every person I tell about this look at me in amazement...and then, of course, they wonder what's the catch? Answer is, there is no catch. I can honestly say Highland Place/Krystal/Hannah made my move across the country much smoother than I could have ever asked for or ever expected...even if I had moved in on time. I think this example exemplifies the true commitment that Highland Place has to its residents. When I moved in, I had beer, champage, cleaning supplies, some snacks, several gift cards, and Girl Scout thin mints (delicious) in the freezer! Krystal and Hannah were always available via text or phone call; they relieved all of my concerns as they arose and even contacted me to see how everything was going.
The value provided by Highland Place is unmatched. Within a few blocks, you have the Highlands Square area, Tennyson Street area, LoHi, and downtown Denver. If you don't drive, the bus picks you up basically right in front of the building and you are a short bike ride from basically anywhere. Casey is the maintenance man for the building and he will be providing 24 hour service. There is a beautiful rooftop area with a grill and seating; it has a great view of the city and the mountains.
EXCELLENT VALUE...EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE...JUST GOOD PEOPLE
