Via Apartments is a great place to live!

I've lived here about 2.5 years now and have had the best experience with the staff and maintenance. My fridge and dryer both broke during my duration of renting here, but the office staff and maintenance were very diligent in addressing my needs and were able to get me a new fridge and dryer within an hour of my request. The office staff is very sweet, they always are willing to help if I lock myself out of my apartment or if I need to print something out. This apartment complex is way more put together than most in Denver. 10/10 reccomend! -Victoria Middleton

    Lived here for 3 years

    I've lived here for almost three years now and it's been the best rental experience i've had. the maintenance is speedy and has also been the friendliest interactions i've ever had with maintenance. all the staff seem genuinely happy to help and work there which makes a big difference. Location is perfect, always plenty of parking available for guests and it's right by speer and many other parks which is great for dog walking.

      Avoid at all costs; dirty/unsafe/mismanaged

      I would give zero stars if possible. Read the Yelp reviews. I usually try to see the silver lining in any situation but Via made that impossible. This place is dirty (see photos), unsafe, and management goes out of their way to be unhelpful and incompetent. The hallways and elevators are dirty, the dog run area constantly is filled to the brim with dog waste, packages go missing, etc. To make matters worse, my motorcycle was stolen from the garage, which isn't a surprise because the door is constantly stuck open and people from the neighborhood (which includes, on the same block, a homeless shelter and needle exchange program) wander in and break into and steal vehicles. Management has refused to take responsibility for the premises and fix the issues that led to my bike being stolen. They said "crime has no zip code" when being reminded of their duty of reasonable care in providing a safe and secure premises. Avoid at all costs.

      Amazing

      The apartment itself is very nice, quite spacious, and well maintained. The staff are friendly, helpful, and do an amazing job of keeping the building safe and secure. The residents are also very chill.

          Great community and neighbors, I do have a problem with my packages constantly being stolen. The thefts have increased dramatically in the recent weeks. Some of the residents are concerned it is a resident who is stealing.

              When it first moved in it was fine, though I discovered its VERY loud from the street traffic, with at least 5-10 emergency vehicles per day. New neighbor is aweful, cannot sleep because of banging at different times at night and early morning, made multiple requests but they jsut tell me to call a private security firm, which I cannot afford. Took months to fix garage door, hallways smell like piss, they left tons of loose screws in the garage leading to a flat tire. It's also very hot, I've had the AC running all winter, because it'll go up to 85 degrees in the apartment with nothing on and no one home, even when the weather outside is below 0.

                Building was great at first. Now is falling into disrepair. Management is uncaring about the condition of the living space / hallways / stairwells. They are covered in animal urine and feces - residents do not clean up after themselves. Extremely loud neighbors and management does nothing. The current Manager is rude and abrasive and completely uncaring. She minimizes my problems and twists it to seem like my fault that I didn't complain about the neighbors noise enough. After multiple emails, calls to security overnight, attached videos and sound clips - she does nothing and offers no sympathy. I am very excited to move out of VIA.

                    Mostly ok. But security is a majorissue. My car has been stolen twice from the secure and gated parking garage. Management did not cooperate to provide security footage. Management has been inconsistent. Started off as engaged and helpful, but is now not friendly and not very helpful.

                      Not the greatest? elevator keeps breaking down, garage door is never fixed and if it is, it breaks down the next day. Pool area smells like pee cause if the dog park. Hot tub is yellow. Seating in the outdoor area and the grills are always dirty? elevator makes noises and the carpet in there is always so dirty. The stairs have poo and pee? not well maintained at all? I will be moving out.

                        My experience has been generally good at Via apartments. The staff is friendly, and the apartment and amenities itself are really nice (gym, jacuzzi, business center). However, I live directly across from the trash room and it gets flooded with trash/boxes almost every weekend to the point that the door doesn't close/open and the smell is very apparent right when I walk in or out of my apartment.

                            Overall the apartment complex is good. Close walking distance to downtown and parks. Nice amenities.                               It has not been a pleasant experience living at Via on Broadway. Maintenance requests take unreasonable amounts of time to complete and there is no communication from the office. I've been waiting months for my dishwasher to get fixed. The staff is rude, condescending and they gaslight you into thinking you're being unreasonable because your problems aren't as bad as others even though I've been silent and patient for two months. This place is also disgusting. The trash rooms are overflowing with garbage bags every weekend. The common areas are not well maintained and the hot tub is green. There are better apartments in nicer areas of the city that are cheaper. I'll be moving there next year.

                                Bike was stolen - most bikes were stolen from locked bike area on floor. Homeless people in stairwell sometimes. Trash/Recycling room is nasty and overflowing most of the time - sometimes so much so that the door can't even open.

                                  Overall it's a decent property. It has alot of good places around it. It also has a lot of homeless people in the area. It has a small pool, better to have one than not I suppose. The dog area is always smelly, as if it's not being rinsed out or properly cleaned. The staff are nice and helpful, although maintenance falls short. It took over two weeks to change our lightbulbs and nothing was said. I could understand if they needed to order them or if we didn't have a maintenance man but let us know.

                                    My experience at the VIA started off great. Lately management, maintenance, cleaning EVERYTHING?has been super mediocre border line terrible. Making mistakes on peoples insurance policies then charging the resident for it and back tracking (what if I needed that money) Multiple experiences of people just walking down the hallway smoking weed, the trash room always being a mess. Appliances are cheap and break easily. Lighting isn't good in apartments (should be LEDs for what we are paying in rent here) Love the location but for the price we pay it should be more tidy, well managed and well secured. Why does the call box not work? Multiple times Amazon delivery people and food app drivers cannot get in our building after 6 in which items are left outside and stolen by the homeless.

                                      My experience has been okay. The location is good, but rents are too high and the facilities not always maintained. For example, the trash rooms are often times clogged and dirty, the garage gates tend to break all the time, the stairs are not often cleaned, and the gym equipment is not well maintained. Also, I had a bike stolen from the bike room. All these don't justify the rent increases and I am considering moving out.

The parking garages are over priced for how often the doors are not working. The noise is bad from other neighbors and the management does nothing about it. I don't love it, but I also don't hate it.

                                            Overall, I think the apartment itself is beautiful and the maintenance staff has always been great. However, I think that the property ownership has cut corners that have affected resident safety. For example, our garage door (in a garage we pay $100 a month to park in) has been broken since November 2021. It has also taken them weeks to fix issues that would allow entry from the outside. In February of 2022, I observed someone sleeping in our stairwell. This is the second time this has happened since my time at Via. Safety should be the number concern of any property management company. I moved into this apartment due to some flooding issues in my one bedroom here.

                                              I love my unit and the amenities here. It's close to everywhere I need to go in town and the building is built well. I love that we can have pets here even though there are sometimes hallway incidents with dogs being dogs. There are lots of cute dogs here and a few misbehaved ones. The things I don't like about the apartment are the broken parking gate that hasn't been fixed in months with the amount of crime outside, the constant turnover of management or lack thereof, and the fact that every single Sunday since I moved in the trash chute is backed up so far that level 3 is overflowing with garbage and stinking up the hallway. My dishwasher is broken currently, which bums me out, but usually my maintenance requests are fulfilled pretty quickly and the maintenance guys are really nice.
