I too moved in with one rate and then ended up with this monthly rate! I was so upset because after numerous calls to the office (at which they were not answered or returned) I ended up with a bill for almost $2000. I so upset. Don't believe anything these people say!!! They will tell u one thing and do another and the office staff never adjustd the bill after they told me they would. They add on all kinds of fees. I had to constantly read the bill. The dumpster was a mile away and it was ridiculous how they do all kinds of updates for the apts to show them off to get them ready such as paint the railings, paint the walls, and update the whole place while ur apt and the bldgs in the back are in complete shambles. My friend lived in the way back and those apts haven't been updated unheard because new customers dong see them when they pull in. Don't move in here- there are much more affordable And nicer places in farmington that will actually do what they say!!!!

Thanks for weighing in with your thoughts about Summit and Birch Hill. We take resident feedback very seriously, and read every review posted. I am very sorry that you did not have a good experience here. Every apartment in our community is prepared for new residents in a standard and consistent way. It is our goal to provide the freshest, cleanest apartment in good working order for every resident that moves in. We are happy to address any maintenance needs that residents have, including painting the railing. Periodically, we are unable to do exterior in the winter or poor weather) although we would be happy to schedule it for a later time. As for your concern about pricing, we do adjust rates to best reflect the current market value for the types of apartments available. These rates can fluctuate daily, and we do our best to communicate rate changes to residents during the renewal process. Any additional fees are outlined in the lease each resident signs before moving in. Please let me know if you have any questions about your lease.
