44 Orange Street Building
The Good: 1.) Rental price and Heat and Hot Water included in rent. 2.) Proximity to Downtown. 3.) Washer and Dryer in each unit. 4.) Very quiet. 5.) Free parking 6.) Packages held by the Concierge. 7.) Safe and secure building. 8.) Concierge and Maintenance staff always very nice. The Bad: 1.) Garbage shared with restaurants and always over flowing. 2.) Elevators on 44 Orange are always dirty inside and someone ripped off the signage inside on both elevators (4 holes in elevator paneled wall - unsightly). 3.) Lobby interior VERY dated in decor and color schemes - really needs a makeover. 4.) Residents 50/50 with people being friendly. Half the building seems to be professionals and the other half really ------. 5.) Apartment themselves are dated but livable. Kitchen cabinets are cheap as are the appliances and counters. Same is true for the bathroom cabinet, sink and faucet. 6.) Cheap wall to wall carpet through out. 7.) Small bedrooms. 8.) Small dogs and cats allowed BUT this is not enforced. I've seen many large dogs including pit bulls in the building.Share This Review
