Buyer Beware. I really wish I had listened to the previous reviews. So, I was in the process of moving into this building in October. The building itself looks nice as are the apartments and the amenities. The leasing staff started off very friendly and very accommodating. Haley was a pleasure to deal with until I changed my mind about moving in. Here's where the "buyer beware" comes from. Let me start by saying: I never signed a lease. During the application process you are required to pay $100 for the application fee (which is nonrefundable) and a $500 deposit which is refundable within 48 hours. The issue is, they do not tell you on the application nor during the application process when this mysterious 48 hour period starts and ends. You will not know if the 48 hours is from the time you signed the lease, the day you signed the application, the date you bought your first car, the date you win the lotto, or the day you changed your mind about moving in to the building. After speaking to the leasing manager (Jen) and the community manager (name unknown). I was thoroughly educated on how the state of Connecticut law's work and how this is a standard agreement. I was also informed how other documents (which I didn't sign), state that the deposit is refundable within 48 hours of signing the application. However, the document they mentioned was NOT the document that I signed. Let me make this clear, I did not move into this apartment. I did not sign a lease. So, again, buyer beware. Do not pay the application and/or deposit fee unless you're absolutely sure you want to move in to this building which quite frankly seems very nice during the sign up process, but I don't know what will be in store for you after that point.
