I just moved into the Glenbrook community. I can't comment on much yet seeing how I've yet to experience it's ups and downs so stay tuned, however it is worth mentioning what I have come to experience so far. I moved from Buffalo NY (7 hours away). I chose the apartment complex based on reviews and signed the lease blind. As you can imagine, it's very nerve wrecking to do that. The leasing agent, Carolyn was an absolute angel. She took care of my every possible need. With her help, I felt as ease to move from a different state, not knowing what I'm moving into and I also had a 5 day deadline. She took all my numerous phone calls and made sure I got the apartment and she did all she could to make it an easier transition for me. I don't know if I will enjoy Glenbrook or not just yet and I will certainly update you all honestly on what it is like living here, but I will say this much... Carolyn is the person to call. I felt comfortable knowing I had such a helping hand at the leasing office. That is rare.
Other notes: the grounds are nice. The heated pool year round is a wonderful bonus. Many cute animals running around. Balconies are a wonderful addition. Neighbors are so far welcoming. Safe neighborhood with everything you need at your fingertips. Golf course across the street. Quiet. Secure access is nice. I have a one bedroom and it is very spacious with ample closet space. Many children running around, but better small children then obnoxious teenagers.
I'll submit a more thorough review when I experience more.
