I would not recommend Eaves Trumbull. From the photos online and the initial presentation of the complex, you would believe that Eaves Trumbull is a quiet, safe, and comfortable environment, except it's anything but. The walls in each unit are paper thin. You can hear absolutely EVERYTHING up to the small details of your neighbors conversations. The units are decent in size for what they are, but in actuality do not look much at all like the photos. There are many damages from previous tenants that are not fixed by move in time. My specific unit was disgusting and uncleanly, with stains on out of date countertops and appliances, to even hair in the cabinets from the previous tenant. A big point that they try to drive home and sell you on is how safe and clean of an environment the Eaves community is. Ironically, there were just two fatal shootings, in a two day time frame right down the street from Eaves, which if you're not familiar, is on the Bridgeport line and by line meaning, Bridgeport is about a 5ft walk across the street. There is "security" at the front gate which is another supposed safety feature. This is a joke. I've witnessed unauthorized cars on numerous occasions entering the complex and the security guard is usually not even in the gate house. In regards to the staff, I have a had mostly pleasant experiences, but with that being said, it's very difficult for them to pick up a phone if you're looking for assistance from the leasing office. I truly was disappointed and would not recommend living in this location.
