Resident · 2004 - 2008
I moved in May 1st. 2004 and found like most apartments the walls and floors are thin, so you will hear other people in the building. I am not new to apartment living, so I rented a place on the top floor, on the end, facing away from the highway. So I wouldn't have someone walking above me, and have the least noise. The grounds were always clean, there was plenty of parking and I found the staff friendly and there were "NO ROACHES". There were a few problems with people jamming the security doors, so they wouldn't lock, because those people were too lazy to use their key. There were people who blasted music loud and made noise in the middle of the night. But what can I say, no matter where you live, your going to run into a few a-holes. I moved in when I got divorced, and stayed until I saved enough money to buy a another home. For me Southwind was a good choice.
