Carillon House Apartments

This is definitely from a Tenant and I love the Carillon House. All of these people who have problems with the management etc. need to stop whining on the internet and confront anyone who is giving them problems. Everyone working at Carillon is here to help us, and they cannot be expected to read a tenant's mind. And that goes with your neighbors. If you have a problem with them making excessive noise, confront them and ask them to stop. This is not the apartment complex's problem.

To the Apartment. The views are the best in the city, with large, open windows in each unit. You cannot beat the location: on the top of the hill in Glover Park (North Georgetown) w/ Whole Foods, Safeway, Blockbuster, Mexican, Pizza, bars, cleaners, gas station, post office, sushi, italian.....all less than one block away. It is bar-none the best location in DC! It is right next to Georgetown, but without the traffic and lack of necessary stores. I just moved from Conn. Ave. and love the location, spacious apartment, beautiful rooftop view, and doable workout room.

I am living in a one-bedroom, and spent about two months scouting out apartment buildings all over DC before I moved; looking for the best view, space, and amenities for the best price. This one had everything I was looking for and the one bedrooms start at $1200/month, which is the best in the district for all the perks it has. The higher you go up, the more you pay, which is understandable since I can see the entire skyline of DC. The area surrounding the National Cathedral is the highest point in DC, and I see the lights of the Capitol, Wash. Monument, boats on the Potomac, and even Arlington across the river.

Parking: There is a three month waiting period for parking, but that doesn't matter at all, since directly across the street (Savoy Hotel) offers monthly garage parking for $100/month. This is even less than parking in the Carillon, and is if not the cheapest, damn near close, in all of DC.

Appliances: They are all in great condition, with gas stoves in all apartments. The floors are all professionally refinished each time a new tenant moves in, w/ hardwood in the majority of the units. If you need anything fixed, call or come down to the front desk and they'll help. No complaints here.
