Dear, Sonnet Apartment Management I am reaching out to express my growing concern and dissatisfaction regarding the ongoing issues in my apartment. These problems are affecting my daily life and have reached a point where I feel compelled to request a meeting with management to find a suitable resolution. Last night, I experienced yet another frustrating incident when the hot water turned cold in the middle of my shower before bed. With no other option, I had to continue with extremely cold water, which was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. This is just one of many problems I’ve faced during my time here. I can’t help but wonder if this apartment was defective and these issues were not disclosed to me when I signed my lease agreement. Additionally, I recently had an issue with the electricity in my apartment, which caused my groceries to spoil. This was not only inconvenient but also costly. Combined with the ongoing issues, I no longer feel I can truly call this place home. Quite frankly, I am unsatisfied with the overall situation and the lack of resolution to these recurring problems. I would like to formally request a management meeting to discuss a solution. My requests are as follows: 1. An Apartment Change at No Cost OR 2. A Release from My Lease Agreement at No Cost Considering the ongoing disruptions to my living experience, I believe these options are reasonable under the circumstances.

Very nice apartments in a great location with amazing amenities (gym, dog area,...). Feels safe and packages are kept in a secure room. Loud on the weekends but very manageable as long as windows are closed.

Curtis makes the experience very enjoyable. And the overall complex is clean and well kept. Only concern is the lack of WiFi and cell service e in the lobby area as well as lack of sound proofing between units.

My experience at the Sonnet overall has been very positive. There are a lot of amenities that make the high rent worth it, such as pool, gym, dog park, etc. The one thing that has been frustrating is people do not always clean up after their dogs at the dog park...

I do not enjoy living at the Sonnet at all. The amenities never work and the management does not take care of anything even with repeated requests. I will definitely move out by the end of my lease and make sure I tell everyone I know not to move in there.

Maintenance is amazing however the fact that all of the amenities are constantly broken is truly disappointing! The grills and the tv screen up on the roof don’t work. What does my amenity fee go towards if they never work?

Haven’t lived here for long but enjoy it. Only thing is Ive had a persistent issue with my water bill since I moved in. Other than that have not had major complaints. Once the water issue gets figured out (in which my bill is 4x more than other residents who have bigger apts than me) I think I will enjoy living here more.

It’s been great, from the tour all the way to move in, the team has been very accommodating. All of our questions were answered very quickly by Tareya and she has been so helpful. Living at the Sonnet has been a dream! I love the amenities and nice to brew a fresh cup of Starbucks coffee while meeting new residents. Curtis is a breath of fresh air and super helpful and accommodating! Tareya allow my relocation from CT to happen very smoothly and greatly appreciated!

So far, it’s been great. The apartments are quiet, the gym is nice but a little small, and everyone is super friendly. It’s very clean and super close to a grocery store and metro stop. I haven’t been living here long, but I really like it so far

Move in was somewhat messy, as the concierge was not told that I was moving in and other factors complicated that process. The most infuriating factor is the lack of control over in-unit temperatures. The thermostats “work” but serve as placebos—that is, any input will not affect the temperature. I consistently get temperatures of around 78-79 degrees in the afternoon because of this (all while the air is “set” at 70).

Lovely community with lots of friendly staff members. Amenities are amazing and while it’s a very pet friendly place it’s very well preserved in terms of cleanliness. Located in a great area as it it’s not too close to the noise, but close enough to fun places. There is a big active community with local running clubs available as well as other gyms. Great place to live as a young professional with a pet.

Great location with access to the metro, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The staff is friendly and makes an effort to get to know the residents. I love the amenities, and I appreciate all of the safety measures/protocols that are in place from the front door all the way to the rooftop pool.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

Do not live here. The leasing office does not care about your wellbeing. The top of the blinds in my apartment, which are (poorly) nailed into the wall and weigh about 40 lbs., fell directly on top of my head as I was routinely pulling down the shades. The leasing office took zero accountability for this, didn't issue any sort of apology, and maintenance has not come to repair them. It's been days. It's pretty on the outside, hollow on the inside, and you'll be treated like trash. If that's your kind of thing, the Sonnet is the place for you.

I like the building a lot. I wish there was a printer we could use. The pool is the highlight. The gym is good. The coffee machine Chai hasn’t worked the past 8-10 times I’ve tried. It’s annoying that only one elevator ever works. I’m puzzled as to why the building doesn’t have a service elevator.

I have had a great experience overall. Everyone is friendly and helpful and if I have an issue people are very responsive. The biggest issues are elevator maintenance during the day as well as noise after hours. Maybe I’m not paying attention but I feel like we don’t get much of a heads up about elevators being shut down? I’m on the 4th floor so it’s very easy to use the stairs if needed. As far as noise I know it’s an apartment and there’s not much we can do just after hours during the week sometimes people aren’t mindful.
