Great Management - best I've seen in DC. The place is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Besides, they include utilities, so it really isn't that much more than anything else that is half-way decent - once you factor that in.

The roaches - I'll clear up the rumors. I live in the Windermere and I had a couple of roaches once. A note at my door immediately followed that they understood that many tenents were experiencing an "over-spill" roach problem. Evidently one of the old tenants (the place was fixed rent before Keener took over) became once of those obease people who gets stuck to the couch and then they have to lift out on cranes. Supposedly, this tenant got a major roach problem that was so bad, they had to rip out all of the floors, built-ins, and sheet-rock and exterminate for days. Keener did exterminate the entire building and I never saw a roach again.
