A decent place...
The apartment's location is very convenient.. there are shopping centres (Pathmark, Kmart, etc.), public library, cinemas, bowling alley, Macdonalds, etc all within walking distance. The place is abit old and run-down but its still pretty decent. It has an oven, electric stove and a fridge, butā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Very good for the price
I've lived here for 3 years now, and the only reason I am considering moving out is for more space and a built in dishwasher. Upsides: *Management: Management has been superb, fixing any major problem I've had quickly and efficiently. *Maintenance: Maintenance staff is experienced and professional, Iā¦Ā See More >anonymous

There were some problems but is getting way much better
I live here since 2006. Yes, for a while it was going down the hill. However, the complex has a new manager which seems to actually care. She answers the phone and sort of follows the office hours. They notify you every time someone isā¦Ā See More >anonymous

STAY AWAY
We lived here for one year ('06-'07), and our entire stay was a nightmare. On our third day there, I awoke to find a maintenance IN my bedroom with me. And it was all downhill from there. Management is never there, andā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Not bad. Crime is a concern though.
I am a college student that has lived here for about a year now. The apartment is nice, trains and sirens are annoying, but you get used to them. Sometimes there are strange people lurking around at night. The only major concern for me hasā¦Ā See More >Elfkin118

Best Value in the Area
I've live here for a few months and so far everything has been fine. I live on the top floor and share walls with three other apartments but I've not heard a peep out of anyone. The only noise comes from the trains which runā¦Ā See More >anonymous

DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICES
If you are only looking for an apartment on convenient locations and with fair rent, Colonial Garden is OK.

The staffs are friendly as well.

However, if you have very low tolerance on noises (footsteps, people banging on the wall and trains and sirens), and onā¦Ā See More >anonymous

In need of MAJOR renovation
These apartments need to be totally overhauled. They are old and show it. Decent value for Main Street, but falling apart. They try to get away with putting as little as possible $$$ into the complex. Management can be difficult if you do anything butā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Hi,
I have stayed in these apartments for one year and I think they are value for money. It is a great location for students. Close to school, on Main St. and relativly cheap. My lease is coming up for renewal and I willā¦Ā See More >anonymous

An Honest Review
The last review sounded like something out of a rental brochure for the office, so you KNOW where they are coming from. They simply want to rent apartments. My boyfriend lived here a few years ago and I spent a lot of time here. Cheapā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Not worth the price and a little on the scary side
I have lived here for a year. These are very old apartments without any charm and few amenities (ie. no dishwasher, small kitchens, no laundry in apartment), but the real problem lies with the noise. If you canĀ“t stand hearing your neighbors make sure youā¦Ā See More >anonymous

a nice place thatĀ“s gone downhill
I lived here three years, 2000-2003. It was initially not too bad, despite the old housing stock (buildings have settled, walls have cracks, etc).
