Needs too much TLC and rid of bad tenants
Valley Run would be a beautiful place to live.. The setting is unbeatable in Claymont/North Wilmington area for a rental community. But there are so many problems its rediculous. Most apartments, unless they were burned down or beyond repair, are not renovated. They were built in 1978, so figure its a dump when it comes to looks. The AC units are dinosaurs, they won't replace them unless they break and be ready to pay $350 /mnth for utilites in the summer. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors do, up down and all around. The balcony/patio areas look dangerous, I don't even know how its up to code. The whole place is not up to code, they must be paying off the Fire Sheriff. Most apartments have no Fire extinguisher either. Don't get me started on the parking issue. Basically, good luck finding a parking spot if you work late and on the weekends. The Quality of people living there is so bad, the place has gone to hell. There is trash EVERYWHERE, real dump of a place. And the pet rent $30 dollars extra a month!!! Who does that!?!? They need new management and renovations and kick out bad tenants, the place would bring me back.Share This Review
