Been living at Altamonte at Spring Valley since September 2017. Its a great place to live. Maintenance is great for emergencies. How ever last year I had an emergency and I could not get ahold of someone. The phone number was not working. My A/C was out and it was very hot out. I was able to fix it on my own. But it was scary not being able to reach someone. If you have a non emergency it can take a few days for maintenance to get to it but that's ok. Everyone is very friendly . The office people are great. The grounds look great. The 2 pools are amazing. W/D in every unit. Screened in porch. Have had some issues with car break-ins. But keep your car locked and you wont have issues. Security is around but they cant be watching 24/7. They do need to enforce some breed restriction with the dogs. A Neighbor as two big pits and a third dog ( a lab I think ) that are not very friendly. Currently I am paying 1170 in rent with 2 dogs. (850 sq ft) But they just sent me a renewal for 1290. I feel that's a huge increase. What ever the base rent is. Add another $100 in extras for trash, water, sewer... I do like the valet trash removal. That's worth the extra $20 a month. ( you have a little bin with a lid out side by your door and about 5 times a week a service comes by and empties it) . But for almost 1300 I feel its a bit over priced. The walls a thick and I don't hear my neighbors. Parking is great. But for the price they should have reserved parking. The areas is great. Walmart, Publix, and plenty of entertainment .
