The apartment and the management are both abysmal here. I moved in on Wed and Fri my toilet broke. I put in a maintenance request through the online portal and the phone. It wasn't until I started writing negative reviews that I got attention. Anyway, the whole time I've lived there the toilet barely functions. Its always running and I pay the water plus I was constantly having to plunge it. And the sink never drained. The bathroom floor was coming up. They have this washer dryer combo unit that never works and you have to spend hours draining it. Also I was sick since I moved in and I'm willing to bet huge stakes there's black mold behind that washer dryer thing. There is no dishwasher. Management treats you like scum. Rent is due on the first. When I paid on the 2nd I got a $98 late fee. There is no grace period. Also if you pay late they make you get money orders instead of paying online. At no time will they allow you to work something out. They are owned by a national corporation. Once they knocked on the door at 9 before I got there they were unlocking it. They said we brought a new fridge. I was furious because they should be making appointments to come by not walking in when they want. My car was broken into and I was told that never happens. they don't care and the property is a slum.

Only live here if you hate money and want to give it away. I paid me rent the morning of Oct 2nd and already had a $97.80 late fee. I would have paid 10/1 but I got paid 10/2. The grounds are nice and there is a nice pool and fitness room. It's quiet most of the time.

There have been some adjustment pains. Things were smooth from June to August then they went sour again. At the beginning of July the assistant manager called to let me know my rent was late. I explained that I took a new job and I get paid 7/10 at which time I would pay the rest of June and all of July. He was cool with that. Fast forward to Sept. Sept 2 I get a notice of 3 days to pay or vacate. I thought it was a little dramatic since I was planning to pay Sept 4th when I got paid. On Sept 4th I went online to my portal to pay and it's locked. I called the office. They said on 9/2 my rent was late so they turned off the portal and now they expect me to go out and get a cashier's check or money order. I explained I work two jobs and have no time for all that. I pointed out they want my rent but actually make it harder for me to pay, what's that about? Needless to say, I was pretty frustrated. I told them they need to make it possible to pay online in order to get the money. I mean these corporate -------s do not make this feel like home at all! We are not people we are units of money and they are greedy and unreasonable. Also, on Sunday early evening I parked my car in front of my apartment and I went back to my car on Thurs early evening and it had been illegally entered. It was obvious someone was looking for money or something. So this is also a sketchy unsafe neighborhood. Stay away!

I have really tried to adjust to living here but I'm having trouble with it. I had to move in during the coronavirus shut down without seeing it first hand. I had just moved back from out of state and I was living in a hotel so time was a bit critical. After the whole thing was going, the night before move in I was told the promised washer and dryer are in fact a combo machine that doesn't dry well. I was past the point when I could back out so I had no choice but I felt this was withheld from me forcing me into the situation I then found myself in. When I moved in I saw immediately that the drawer below the stove was broken. Why wouldn't this have been corrected before move in? I had to complain about the neighbors holding loud conversations and playing loud music late at night. I am paying far too much to live in the ------. Less than a week after I moved in the toilet broke and it wasn't resolved for several days. The manager was very apologetic and said they never got the request which I believe. About 6 weeks into my stay the AC broke and again it would be several days before the issue could be resolved but they maintenance man did stop by and try to fix it. So I have complained a lot about this washer dryer combo and not getting my clothes dry and free of lint and cat hair. You can run it all day and night and all you get is a high power bill. Today I had to take my work clothes to the coin laundry spend $1 and 30 minutes and they were dry. Another thing is the freezer was turned down and I didn't realize it. Is all this because of the shut down and social distancing? I feel so very stressed here. Oh you know what else? The postal carrier gave me a slip saying my package was delivered to the front office but they say they don't have it!! I can't live like this anymore. I am moving as soon as I can get money together. I know that the consequences will be punitive, I saw the financial penalties for breaking the lease when I signed the lease but better that than to not be comfortable in my own home. Now I want to say that it could be just this unit. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are very pretty and the people who aren't my neighbors are friendly. I just drew the short straw I guess.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The COVID-19 issue is one we are taking with the utmost seriousness and adhering to the guidelines set forth by not only the CDC but other health organizations to help prevent the spread of the virus. One of those recommendations is ā€œsocial distancing,ā€ and we have been advising all residents, vendors, and staff to comply fully with these recommendations. We do have modified maintenance work orders in place to also comply with the CDC recommendations. We understand that the property manager has been in touch and a resolution is in place. We truly appreciate your message and the opportunity to solve the issue.
