Resident 2018

7/21/2018

Staff - The community is great as long as you don't need to engage the staff. The management staff is not rude, most just seem unhelpful and like they don't care. I submitted a resigning lease and some how they lost it and then blamed me for never turning it back in. Their "paper organizing skills" are equivalent to that of a three year old. Maintenance - I have submitted several maintenance requests during my time here. Expect delays and excuses for why it hasn't been done. It took 4 months, 4 paper requests, and 3 conversations with the property manager to get screen doors on my apartment. Screens are a standard that is suppose to come on every apartment. To make it worse, they didn't even put on the correct ones so they don't work properly. The people - The residents are nice and friendly. Very little rifraf appears. Amenities - The pools are nice but you will have to skim the foliage out and maybe a crab or two before getting in. The staff does not skim them or they do not do a very good job. Especially at the pool by the laundry room. Laundry room is nice, the driers get extremely hot and will shrink your clothes if your not careful. They claim to have monthly events for residents. In my 12 months here I have never seen one posted. I'm not saying they don't have them, but if they do then they keep it hush hush. Moving in - I was told my apartment was "cleaned" prior to moving in and that the people before me were "clean" as well. If that wasn't the worlds biggest lie, then I don't know what is. My counter tops were sticky, floors had dirt on them. Bedroom carpets still had pieces of gravel that fell out of someones shoes. The tubs looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in decades (Probably due to the water). The cabinets stuff spilled in them. Slobs, Slobs lived here before me. I had to bleach and scrub the entire apartment prior to moving anything out of the moving truck. Overall - The complex is nice as long as you don't need the staff for anything. If you need the staff well, best of luck to you. I never hear from them unless they are spraying. The "issues" weren't enough to make me move out. I try not to deal with the staff and I don't mind skimming the pool before entering it. Now that my apartment is clean, it is easy to keep it that way.
