I've lived here about 6 months now. Due to my career I have lived in many places over the last 20 years. When I relocated to the area I wanted a decent apartment in a decent area at a decent price. I looked at maybe 20 places in the entire Ft Lauderdale area before settling with Cameron Cove. It's not the best place I've ever lived, nor is it the worst. It's your average apartment complex with the average issues and benefits.
PROS:
1. The price is the best I found around for miles for what you get.
2. Its overall quiet. The most noise was caused by them keeping the grounds up and maintaining the buildings
3. It's pretty with everyone having lake veiws
4. Ample parking
5. Location. It's close to just about everything, in a very safe area
6. The office staff is overall friendly
CONS:
1. They really need to do something about the consistency of the hot water. It's hot then warm then hot again then warm during every shower
2. The units seem dark and small, but that's just my opinion
Overall its a decent place to live. You get what you pay for . No place is perfect. If you are looking to be pampered or live in a resort, expect to pay more than you would here.
