We were so happy to move in after seeing the model and applying and being approved. It took 1 week and a day to get a call from them stating that we were approved. Then we had to wait an entire month to actually see the apartment that we were moving into(i wasn't stressing it because i thought that they just had a lot of work to get done. We got to see the apartment on the day of moving in. I was not very impressed. It looked nothing like the model.. everything in the unit was old except the washer and dryer. The Carpets have major bumps and sinks as if the floor was not leveled before placing the carpet(It caused me to slip and fall a few times). the bathroom sink counter top was awful !!looked as if they just painted the top(it had a huge lump-i got them to change it) the shower has mold growing in it. the windows and creases in the apartment looked like they haven't been cleaned in years when I called management about these flaws i noticed they basically said that I was being too picky and looking to rent a perfect apartment based on my renting experience in different countries and states my land lord always go above and beyond to make sure I i comfortable. MY BiGGEST THING was the KITCHEN!!! When I applied the lady assured me I would get a new stove(glass top) I did not get a glass top and got one of the old school stove that doesn't even have a timer the fridge is very old and has like 3 shelves missing I called in about an issue and they took my number but no one called me back.. luckily i saw one of the maintenance guys the next day and told him about the issue I just can't wait for the year lease to end so i can find a better apartment to rent. I moved from New York last year to live here in florida and have not had a great renting experience here at all- it makes me very depressed. i guess thats what you get for wanting to pay only 1120- 1200 per month for a one bedroom apartment.
