The parking policies at Modera are so excessive and confining - the distress it causes is enough to want to move or not renew your lease. It is one thing to want to provide security and accessibility, but the way they penalize and handle parking issues is ridiculous. It outweighs whatever security they promise. They boot your car without warning and charge fees or boot guests via third party with whom they do not communicate properly. Don't bother inviting friends and family over; it's an ordeal for parking. It's a shame you will not feel secure or comfortable leaving your vehicle in the place you live. I'd also heard negative things about Alexandra in the leasing office from more than one of the residents, which was undoubtedly confirmed when I tried speaking to her regarding a parking situation - unwillingly to fully listen, unhelpful and arrogant. She cut me off and probably did not have the capacity to understand my point as she kept defaulting to the same statements which I had already understood and argued. I truly recommend speaking with someone else if you have concerns. The lack of effort to help the resident is so deterring. Your customer may not always be right, but they come first, which is not how we feel.

We did try to communicate the parking changes over several community-wide emails as well as by posting notices in all mail rooms. We had to enforce parking regulations due to unauthorized guests parking in the garages for extended periods of time.
