I absolutely love Hampton Oaks! The townhouses sold me, I love half baths and having the bedrooms upstairs out of the common areas. The maintenance and staff are super nice and helpful. If anything needs to be fixed, the problem is handled the same day. I previously lived in the Woodlands for 3 years and there are a lot of similarities in style and cleanliness, yet with Hampton Oaks you pay a reasonable price and the Woodlands robs you. They have the same furniture package (very nice wood tables for the dining and living room and leather-ish couches) except Hampton offers you a 52" screen TV with the package! The gardens, dog park, and yards are kept mowed, trimmed, and always looking like home. Everything is all inclusive so you don't have to pay a bunch of different bills. The location is amazing since Newberry is right down the street- next to the mall and the hospital I work at(North Florida Regional.) It's also on 62nd which is a quick way to get to 20th to go the back way to Archer Rd! They do "tow" , even though I have never seen a truck, but they offer a ridiculous amount of visitor parking (never full) so your friends and family always have somewhere to park when they come visit! The only downfall for me is that when I moved in I realized I cannot add a Cox package to the tv service they provide through rent. Previous complexes have allowed me to just pay the extra amount (like for DVR, HD, and HBO channels around $19 extra a month) and not have to cancel through the all inclusive and get my own tv and Internet service (which is crazy expensive to pay alone) I would suggest they look into that! I have to go to my boyfriends apartment to watch all my previously recorded shows. That's a minor disadvantage though and I wouldn't move out because of it. I have lived here for a year and plan on living here until I leave Gainesville! You'll be happy if you sign here =)
