Lexington Crossing Apartments

This place is horrible...where do I begin?? Move-in day left much to be desired. They say that they make any maintence repairs the week before everyone moves in, but they still did not fix half of the things wrong with the apartment until after we moved in. Ants are everywhere...I swear this place was built on a giant ant colony. They spray inside the apartment rather than the outside so you get to see even more ants after pest control comes (and that is after you have made multiple requests that they need to spray for the ants). You cannot leave any food on the counters in fear of invasion of ants. As if these pests were not enough to contend with, we also have plenty of silverfish and munching termites! Yes, and they neglected to tell us about any of the aformentioned permenent guests. The office managers never have an answer for any of the problems and they never seem to get around to fixing the problems. The cable is horrible...they even went bankrupt and we are left with channels coming in and out daily. Raccoons hunt 24 hours a day, on any floor of the buildings. They are not scared on humans anymore, but have taken to flying out of the trash cans when we pass. Lexington knows of the raccoon problem, but only gave us trash cans to have the bags off the ground instead of calling animal control to order traps to remove the animals. The walls are very thin, so get to know your neighbors well. If speakers are kept on the floor above you, but prepaired to have your room and your belongings vibrate. Phones can be heard ringing in surronding apartments, even ones below. This place says that it offers so much for your money, but they offer even more than you know without cost. I would not recommend living here! <br>
