Let see,

Upon signing a lease I was charged with a $250 redecoration fee, but
- Carpet was and is still dirty.
- Blinds are extremely dirty and there is
gum stuck to one.
- Door lock is rusted and door frame has a
hole on it.
- There is white paint on the heating
elements and the bathroom mirror.
- All door stops are broken.
- Phone outlet is screwed up.
- Tile is extremely dirty.

Apparently they didn't do any redecoration. All they seem to have done is put paint on a few places that obviously doesn't need it. Perhaps the leasing agents had lunch on me. And dinner. And probably next days breakfast as well.

24 hour maintenance huh?
Well I guess if 24 hours a year counts then they would be telling the truth. Management has a policy of ignoring maintenance requests and telling you it's been put in. Maintenance only comes around if you keep on complaining.

Office staff are incompetent and like to lie.
They will say what pleases you to get you to sign the lease if clauses are unclear, but of course you do not sign their verbal explanations and get screwed.

Furthermore, check with the Better Business Bureau. Paradigm has an Unsatisfactory record with them.

And most of their properties are overpriced for what you get. Shop around and you will see. That's why they have so much trouble filling communities such as Oxford Manor, The Landings, Hidden Lake, Cobblestone, The Laurels. If you want to live in those, make sure you NEGOTIATE a good price with management. After all, they can't fill them at the prices they charge.

Management is very stingy. Ask some of the nicer workers and they will tell you some of the horror stories. They tend to use the cheapest materials available.

Maybe if they can learn to manage properly they will be able to fill all their apartments.
