I moved in less then a month ago and have never had so many problems with my apartment then all of the other places I've lived combined. I have major water damage. From the washer/dryer hook ups leaking so bad that within a week there was so much water damage that the complex had to come cut out that wall and replace it. Which they started by removing the wall, then decided to wait a week before coming back to finish it. So I had a huge hole for a week. Then any time it rains there is massive water leaks. Gallons of water pour into the living room. My living room apartment carpet has been wet more then dry in the last 3 weeks. I have everyday for the past 3 weeks contacted them about replacing this carpet and inspecting why there is such a leak. All they ever do is sent someone by to put some chalk on the outside of the window. (Which never fixes the problem.) There is also leaks from the kitchen sink and the master bathroom tub. Not to mention the "minor problems" like when they painted the front door black they painted right over the peep hole. (I had someone knock on my door at 10pm and I could see who was at my door. ) I told the complex about this when I 1st moved in and no one has addressed it. To the master bedroom doesn't shut all the way. To cable wires just hanging from the closet ceiling. To multiple outlets not working. Then I noticed the air quality in the home wasn't good. I decided to check the air filter. (See attached photo.) It hadn't been changed in years. It was complete covered in dirt and grim. Now on to the errors and rudeness of the complex employees. When we 1st moved in they said they could do an exception and could do a 5 month lease since I was planning on in 5 months. Then right before I moved in they told me management didn't approve that and I will have to sign a 7 month lease. Then they messed up my rent when it was due. Online they had my rent as $340 higher then what I suppose to pay. They kept saying that it would be resolved that day and I could pay my bill online later that day. This went on for 11 days before corrected. Also, when I 1st moved in they told me that the mail key wasn't ready yet but would be the next day. I went in every day for 8 straight days and they told me that same story. On the 8th day I saw the head maintenance guy who makes the keys and asked him about when this will be done. He looked confused and said no one ever told him that there was a new tenant and that it needed a key. He went and made me a key right then. Now on to the staff. The 2 front employees are nice but are not educated on what is going on. Whenever I have asked them info on anything, the info they gave was never right. Then the 2 managers are both extremely rude and nasty. They will smile at you until they hear that you have an issue and then they try to turn the problem around like the issue isn't there problem or that the gallons of water pouring into my living room isn't a issue. One even told me "You can just vacuum up the water". Like its my place to take care of that. This place is BY FAR the worse living conditions I have ever had to live in.
