Turtle Creek Apartments

Choosing to live here was a huge mistake. I was enticed by a huge closet, far larger than any in other apartments that I could afford, but the closet was truly the only good thing about living here. I moved in with one management company (who were great, with an attentive maintenance staff and had nothing minor issues). Then GMC took over and everything went downhill. In that time, I had constant bug issues (supposedly they continued to spray and pest control continued to come, but I never saw pest control and I saw plenty of bugs.) More importantly, after a water leak flooded my apartment, maintenance staff stole cash from me and ruined belongings by their mistreatment in tossing them to the side, rather than placing things out of the way. (They maintained that the carpet cleaning company that they contracted were the ones who stole from me, however if that is the case, the correct response would have been for them to stop using this company, yet they continue to use them still.) After they had been accused of stealing money, they then refused to follow up on any maintenance complaint because they were more concerned about being accused of doing something wrong than maintaining their property. There are constant noise issues from your neighbors and take care to never mention how intolerable the noise is to staff or your neighbors, because then you will deal with harassment every time you step outside of your apartment. Furthermore, there is an incessant stench of dog crap every time you step outside of your apartment because no one picks up after their dogs and GMC does not enforce any rules. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this place. The layouts are great, but the management company will ignore you until you are either crying or yelling at them for their mistreatment, and then tell you that it's your own fault and to deal with it yourself.
