Counting the days till the lease is finally up!!!
Lakepointe should be a last resort for anyone looking to move into an apartment. And I mean LAST! Nothing is included in your rent, and the bill you must pay each month for water/sewer/various utilities will be divided up between your apt. and those in your direct building - NOT how much or often you use your own water. You will be charged the $75 late rent fee if you do not pay this bill with your rent. As for the maintenance staff - LOL they're more like clowns w/the circus. If you want anything fixed and you can't do it yourself, it will take a minimum of 2 months full of arguing with the management staff to get maybe a few visits from their unskilled and unknowledgeable maintenance staff and or supervisor. You may never have the problem completely resolved. Laundry facilities on this site, if you are subjected to using them - be prepared for many trips through their swampy sidewalks which are continuously under water only to find your laundry as dirty as when you started the wash. Trying to get your money back from the out of order washing machines will take you about another month of arguing with the management staff. Never take an apartment by one of their pools since you will have rowdy partiers at all times of the night keeping you awake. If this isn't enough to steer you in the opposite direction, please try and take a stroll through the overgrowth covered and swampy sidewalks of this complex before signing any paperwork - residents on site will most definitely give you a laundry list of reasons why Lakepointe is not the place for any human residents. In fact, try walking around the main office and pool, stick your head in and view for yourself just how disgusting the laundry room is. I guarantee you will not make it around the pool area and back to the office without being covered in mud, slime and having to walk off of our sidewalks to get past the overgrown shrubs. If all of Lakepointe's residents seem to be off the premises trying to avoid our horrible living conditions, and you have any further questions, feel free to email me - I will be stuck here until Feb. 2006.Share This Review
