I actually lived here twice. Once from January 2010 - June 2012 and my most recent time was from January 2014 - April 2015. The funny part is I was in the same exact apartment both times. I may be moving back to Orlando this Fall, and if I do I will choose to live here (maybe my apartment will be available again!). I had an apartment with a nice secluded view from the balcony. It overlooked the little pond out front and the trees in the back. I would sit out there and read and listen to the wildlife calling or thrashing about. It was relaxing. The management staff was always good to me, addressing whatever issues I had (which weren't that many) and if I had any maintenance issues they were taken care of quickly (once, the AC drain pipe was clogged, causing some minor flooding in the apartment...it was taken care of that day). My neighbors were pretty decent, but you get a mix of mostly students and WDW employees (at least that was my impression). During my last stay, there were some sketchy people that moved in but they left after a few months. The grounds are kept up pretty decently, but the breezeways could be cleaned more often. The valet trash is nice, but there are issues of it not being picked up on occasion which leads to the raccoons getting in to the boxes and dragging garbage all over the place. For the most part, I didn't hear my neighbors unless they were playing music or watching TV with a lot of bass in the sound. I could hear the upstairs neighbor walking around, but he was heavy footed. Other than that, no complaints but YMMV. They are apartments, afterall. Parking sucks. No assigned parking and if you arrive after 10pm, be prepared to walk to your apartment from a distance. I never went to the gym or the swimming pool, so I can't comment on them. Overall, my experience here has been positive. Both times I moved out I received my deposit after a few weeks and was charged only the $60 cleaning fee (big whoop).
