While I spent my year at their quasi-prison of a "community", I heard numerous stories of people being defrauded in various ways by this organization. I didn't think they would do it to me, though- the model tenant.
Well, it turns out they do it to pretty much everyone.
I stayed here for one year and checked out this past August. After waiting a long time for my $560 (!) deposit to be returned to me, I decided to call them to see what the hold up was.
They told me that there was "a bunch of crap all around [my] room" and for this reason they were withholding the deposit and charging me a "carpet replacement fee".
I asked for proof (since I'm not convinced that the 4 hours I spent making the place spotless before I left were a hallucination).
They sent me photos of the wrong room. The wrong room. I now have to battle them on the phone for them to fulfill their contract.
After a year spent in their crime ridden crap-hole, full of cockroaches, maintenance acting like the Gestapo (they can, and do, come in whenever they want- they caught me in the buff a couple of times), management giving out random garbage fees for the entire community for a party that happened in a totally different section (goodbye $30), and disgustingly kept grounds (see for yourself), they defraud me.
Stay here if you don't like money or happiness.
