Renewing for a third year
I'm writing a paper for my marketing class on Pegasus Landing and was referred to this site for additional sources. I can't believe some of the things I'm reading! I'm about to renew for my third year and I really enjoy my apartment. I can't comment on all of the roommate horror stories because I moved in with friends and we've never had any problems. I will say that these stories aren't uncommon regardless of where you live. I hear them from classmates all the time, even from friends who live in houses. How do people really expect for P.Landing to match you up with the perfect roommate? It's not eharmony or whatever. They ask you basic questions and match you based on what you say. On-campus (where I lived my freshman year) didn't even ask me any questions. They just placed other females with me and left it at that. Obviously, that didn't work out great, but that's another "review", LOL. I don't understand what the big deal is even if you don't like your roomie though. You have your own room and your own bathroom so you have your own space if anything. I think the main problem is that most students (and parents it seems) just aren't reading the lease. It is pretty basic and easy to understand. Their rules aren't crazy compared to some of my other friend's apartment complexes and they're fair. People are just ignorant and then want to blame someone else for their problems. My apartment is supercute and we've never had any issues with maintenance that weren't easily fixed. The RA's are ok, but I rarely interact with them. They work for UCF though, so it's good to know that their staff is here if I ever need them. I plan on graduating so the 09-10 schoolyear will be my last and I'll be happy to finish it off at Pegasus Landing. I would highly recommend friends living here, (and actually got paid cash from the office when I did before) as well as anyone else who wants a good deal on student housing.Share This Review
