Resident 2009 - 2011

2/15/2011

I wanted to live close to everything downtown, and be able to walk to the lake and restaurants but couldn't afford to pay the newer places. I decided to move to this complex on December 09. I can honestly say I enjoy my apartment very much, as well as the down-to-earth feeling of the Village neighborhood. The apartments are spacious with lots of windows. Keep in mind this place is "vintage", although my unit was very well kept and had newer fixtures, plus the antique ones were in good condition. Because I didn't care about dishwashers or marble countertops, this place was a good option for me. I never had a major maintainance problem, but when I did needed something to be fixed, Tim was very efficient to respond. I really haven't had to interact much with the the current manager Tamy, but the only times I had to, she was cordial and helpful to me. There are things overall that can be improved as in every other place, and I think that the management has been made aware of those things by the current residents, and my impression is that they seem to be willing to work on those issues. In my experience, if you don't mind living in an older place with no luxuries but lots of character, and cute enough to call it home, then this place may be good for you too.
