At first, I loved Lakeside Villas. Now that I have renewed my lease, it seems that none of the amenities are being kept up with. Also, they suck you in with promises they can't keep. I was told last year when first moving in that I would have a fully upgraded apartment but when I got the keys, I didn't have the new wood floors, painted walls/cabinets or new countertops. As we were nearing our renewal date we were told the minimum they could do for us would be new hard wood floors.... however now that will not be happening and our rent still increased. Not only that, but now I'm being charge an extra utility fee I have never paid for before and has not been provided in my lease as a payment I need to make. I have tried to contact JRK Properties who owns Lakeside Villas and they are not any help either. I have made countless phone calls and emails for the last month with no return correspondence. I'm absolutely frustrated with Lakeside Villas. I was so excited to extend my stay here and it all went to ----... (lack of better words). All in all, be careful with what they promise you.... they're here to sell their open apartments and sell they will!
