Pretty landscaping, noisy neighbors
Overall, the apartments were ok, at least, if you re back along the waterway and away from the parking lots. I liked the layout of the 1br with the built-in shelves -- it wasn t so boxy as usual apartments are. Plus, if you can get on the waterway and have a screened-in porch that's the best location. The neighbors were the biggest problem -- many have no class at all and could care less whom they blast with their lousy music, especially around the main pool. The walls are fairly thin so you ll hear the thump thump of the bass. There s also lots of petty crime -- some robberies and domestic problems that the cops show up for on occasion. The staff were friendly and helpful enough, but very young and inexperienced. The maintenance crews were not so prompt, and there are a lot of problems, especially with the septic tanks, so that if someone dumps a wad of paper towels in their toilet you re out of flush power for a while. One other thing, depending on where your apt. is, you might have to park a distance away and walk a bit, but that s ok because it ll mean you re not near the parking lots and it ll be quieter. But it's still a pain. Equity owned the property when I lived there and they managed it near to sub-par, which made me not ever want to live at an Equity property again.Share This Review
