Okay community, could be better. Living so close to the Candy Way trail is sketchy and I've seen my fair share of sketchy things happen. Neighbors truck was stolen, car break ins, but that's Baldwin Park getting bad in general. Only thing that really annoys me is the amount of dog poop in the area. It stinks and despite the complex having doggy bags provided to us, large poops cover the grass and sidewalks. I've stepped in poo more times that I can count. So if you plan on moving here, don't walk in the grass, and especially don't wear your shoes in the house. Also, complex lacks a dedicated dog park. Which leaves a lot of people bringing their dogs to run and play on the fenced tennis court. I have a dog and have done it too, but at least there isn't dog poop there. Neighbors are quiet; and nice and I've had just about all my neighbors introduce themselves when seen around. Walls and thin so you'll def learn your neighbors routine. Parking here after a certain time is a nightmare. But don't worry, park anywhere, including the car wash station. Just don't park in front of the overpriced garage, then they will threaten to tow you - but don't worry, I've never seen a tow truck, in fact, a broken down car with a flat tire sat in a non parking spot for 3 months until it finally got moved, probably by the owner. Club house is decent. Just wish they would add blinds to the gym, otherwise you're working out for the world to see as they pass the gym at night. Makes you kinda worried that people know you're in there alone. Overall, this feels like home, the apartments are huge, I'm debating if I'm going to resign my lease next year or not. If I do, it will be simply because everything in my home has a place, and to be frank, moving isn't fun.
