I lived at The Quaye for a little over a year and was extremely unhappy. The apartments are very small and very dark. The appliances in the kitchen appear to be the cheapest and smallest they could buy and I felt that, in general, the place was poorly constructed. For instance, more than one of the doors in my place fell off the hinges and many of the knobs and locks kept breaking. The layout of the complex is very poorly designed; guest parking is practically non-existent. The "security gates" are broken 90% of the time, and even when they're working the call box doesn't work correctly so you can't open them if you have a guest. The staff in the leasing office is very rude and unfriendly and typically unwilling to help if you have a question or concern. The best thing about this place is the amenities, I suppose. The pool area is lovely and the gym is pretty nice. They have a game room, but usually the games aren't working. They also do a lot of resident events and activities. I do want to mention that the maintenance staff is wonderful. They are friendly and responsive and if you put in a maintenance request, they are usually there that same day to fix it. Other than that, living at The Quaye was pretty terrible, and they just increased the already astronomical rent another $200+ per month.
