The area is very convenient but there are still more MAJOR improvements needed here starting with maintenance. The office staff is friendly but very passive on most of the issues you bring to them. No overhead lighting in living rooms & bedrooms, no ceiling fans. The lights flicker in sunshine or rain and has caused my pc monitor to stop working. I don't even set my microwave clock anymore b/c the lights in the apartment go out and back on so often. You can hear neighbors VERY well...when their alarm goes off repeatedly at 5am for over an hour while they shower & other bedroom activity like yelling and fighting. When they go onto the balcony at 2 and 3 am to smoke you hear that. Loud music, loud neighbors. A lady puts her kids out on the patio and leaves them there screaming, crying, and yelling until past dark nearly EVERY day. My neighbor next door lets their dog defecate on their patio which smells terrible. Filthy laundry rooms and rude and overly aggressive maintenance men. The office staff changes faces very often. Pest problems including fruit flies & knats making a home in the sink/garbage disposal which is all in one might I add. The dishwasher is unusable because it was filthy when I moved in and so was the oven. Got notification that I was approved way ahead of time close to 4 weeks..the day I arrived the apartment was not even ready. Had a major flea infestation the first week there (I have no pets) pest control took 3-4 days to come. Pet feces all over the complex including the grassy/dirt area near my front door and kitchen window. Folks hanging out at the pool way past 10pm having parties and drinking. Illegal drug sale activity and prostitution. NOt a place to raise a kid definitely. Teens running around all day and half the night arguing and fighting and cursing. Parking and trash sucks. The area is too cramped and they refuse to give you information about JIK to complain about the crap they don't want to take care of. They charge ridiculous rates to pay your rent online with a credit card. Visa/Mastercard payments add an extra $25 , no money orders accepted, & if you have no other options you pay extra for a cashiers check. Seems as if they charge you for your EVERYTHING but you don't get anything if they screw you except an insincere apology. The manager is hardly ever on site b/c as I have been told she is at another complex. Bad enough they change so often then you can't speak to them onsite when you need to. Many tenants come in the wrong way (fast food delivery drivers as well)and around corners makes it difficult to see and can cause many accidents or injuries to kids not expecting a car coming from the wrong direction around a corner since there is no adequate space to walk other than the same road the cars take. I live in the back and have to part all the way in the front if I get home after 8pm. In a nutshell, save your money go elsewhere. If you're already there, run as fast as you can in the other direction!
