Don't do it!

I thought I was moving to a nice place. It is nice. However, the cigarette smoke makes the apartment uninhabitable. I run several air purifiers and still smell like smoke. The leasing office tells me they want to help, but they can't until they catch the people smoking. In the mean time, I'm stuck in the lease and dealing with the smoke. Also, neighbors here play music all night long. I came from Bungalows and never had these problems. Buyer Beware!

I love it here! Quiet and very nice, location is great as well. Everything you need is within a 2 mile radius, all of the neighbors are super nice and we're all very welcoming. I feel safe in this apartment complex.

Awesome location, nice apartments. Office needs some help. Was told move in was at noon so me and my fiance took the day off had everything packed ready to go with trucks and movers. They told me our place wasn't ready and to come back later. 5PM! We didn't finish unloading untill 11pm due to our movers not being able to wait 5 hours for the unload. Then for the next 3 days had to work and continue moving/unpacking the second we got home. On top of that none of the water appliances were hooked up properly so as soon as we started the washer it flooded the carpet and stained it black in that area, maintace came and fixed it then the same day we run the dishwasher and the same thing floods the kitchen, then the next morning the shower faucet popped off the wall at 6am and flooded the bathroom/soaked me before work. Most of the serious stuff has been fixed by now but we put in a work order for all the other stuff and haven't heard back. Even requested the office manager come and look at the state of the apartment, instead she just put in a work order and they haven't came it's been a week.... we pay almost 1500 a month for a one bedroom.... I would expect this to go alot smoother...

It is a safe and quiet community, the common spaces are always clean and the neighbors are very respectful, the maintenance of the units is very timely, as soon as there is a problem it is resolved quickly.

I have found the office staff and the maintenance staff to be really good. My apt. if great but the landscaping, including hanging branches from the trees, need work. I wish there were some place for bikes to be kept cause my neighbors is in the breezeway and the handle of the bike is sticking out onto the stairs.

Love it here, great pool area and work out room. The location is great with so many restaurant's and stores near by. Neighbors are friendly and the office staff and maintenance guys are very efficient!!

I selected this apartment because it was very closer to my job, close to a great school for my oldest son. It's walking distance to a grocery store. I love the screened patio, the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and incredible cabinet spaces.

It was a quick and easy move in process. So far maintenance has been very helpful. Anytime I have an issue they are right there. The community is very quiet. It is also in a very convenient location close to everything.

So far it's not great, I still have maintenance issues after almost a month of living in the unit and the issues should be handled quicker, I have mold in my kitchen cabinets and still little to no hot water. I rarely manage to get hot water out of the sink and what someone would say a "warm" shower for just 5 minutes before it's cold. Better communication from the office staff would be helpful, as well as understanding that certain tenants have pets which would need to be accommodated in order for maintenance to enter the premises without issues, and even when asking for a heads up or an email notice before coming to the unit, that was never done, rather they would just show up unexpectedly.

Everything is good. The response is immediate even if they do not have the spare parts to make it 100% operational. The maintenance workers are pleasant and polite. I think that a better service would be if in the quarterly reviews they observe some failures and thus anticipate the breakdowns.

Although I've been trying to keep up with the constant rent hikes; I do like Ocean Oaks apartments. I like the office folks, the maintenance staff. I love the pool, and how close I am to everything. ;

This is a nice established community, quiet, safe, close to shops, schools, churches in great places to eat! The staff is very friendly and quick to reply on maintenance issues. The grounds and landscaping are always being maintained.

The leasing staff is great, the apartment complex is nice and quiet around 8:30 pm till 8 a.m. Ample amount of parking and very friendly neighbors. I have lived in a few apartments since I was 18 before selling my home and this is so far one of the friendliest greetings I have ever had.

No issues. Quiet community with great staff and maintenance. Gym area could be kept more up to date since most machines have dead batteries, but other than that everything has been pleasant so far. Just renewed my lease with no complaints

I've been here several years now. The complex is well maintained. It is quiet. Great neighbors. Excellent office and maintenance personnel. I really like living here. It is also perfectly located to multiple stores and restaurants. On a bus line. Perfect for those of us who no longer can drive. Walking distance to Walmart plus several other businesses. I recommend living here very highly.

Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Apartment needed to be cleaned once we moved in and some of the appliances were not functional like the ice maker and the garbage disposal but we are supposed to get it repaired soon

Overall it is a peaceful location and I intend to remain as long as able. Neighbors are friendly and it certainly is a animal loving community. I look forward to the possible upgrades for a larger and more versatile dog park to allow for better exercise and to avoid the hot pavement during summer months.

These apartments are very nice. Some of them are nicer than others. But you pay more. I have loved living here since 2018 but rent has gone up tremendously! They all have. The gvnmt needs to put a cap.
