Resident 1999 - 2004

12/23/2004

We lived here for almost 5 years. The first two years was in the larger one bedroom and we really liked it. It was still under Aimco and a good management team in the office and we had no complaints. Then Con-Am took over and it went downhill. Around the time ConAm took over we moved into a two bedroom, two bath apartment in the complex. Worst thing we ever did. It wasn't cleaned properly before we moved in, it had major issues in the main bathroom, all the appliances were outdated and falling apart. You can tell they strive very hard to make the outside look nice (which it does, grounds are kept up, annuals are planted, etc), but they haven't done anything to update the INSIDE of the apartments. And I'm sorry, when your paying $850.00 for a 2 bed and 2 bath apartment, you expect some updates in the apartment. At least semi-new carpet when you move in, which wasn't the case for us. The gym is not great, very few machines. For what the complex offers, I feel people are over-paying for what they are getting. We moved recently from the complex and just feel overall it needs a major overhaul. These apartments were built in the mid 80's and it show's. Time to update or turn into condo's.
