I don't know where the previous reviewer really lived, but I've lived here in Mission Bay for going on 3 years now, and I regret every year of it! (Sky high home rentals, no vacancy apartment complexes are what have kept me here). The management is awful - very uncaring when you have any sort of emergency. There IS NO EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE. There is a pager # posted on the door of the office and in the newsletter, but the day after we tried calling it 4 times with no answer, we were informed it doesn't work. Our toilet (in a 1BR/1BA) was overflowing onto the floor, and we had to call a friend's father to come help. When we went down to the office the next day, we were told that there was a gas station or Walgreens nearby we could've used (to go to the restroom). Both of which close at 10pm. This was at 12:30am. And the emergency pager is supposed to be used in situations like these. Walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors doing their thing at any hour. The pool is always full of sand, billiards room only available at select business hours, "gated community" does not exist. Water is only free if you don't have a washer. Pest control only comes if you request it EACH MONTH (they don't tell you this). DO NOT FALL FOR THE LISTED AMENITIES! Mostly lower class residents, non-friendly, halls are usually really run-down. Trash compactor hardly works, so there is a 10ft tall pile of trash at least once a week. All fixtures in apartment began to fall apart within the first 6 mos. The only plus about this place is it is the cheapest place around! Don't move here!!!
