Where do I start... I lived here for a year and it was probably the worst housingexperience I've ever had. For starters, it was undisclosed to me there was Section 8 housing in this complex. I later discovered this after I had signed the lease. Also, the crime rate in this complex is outrageous. Something also not disclosed to me when I asked. That's just the beginning. It was not uncommon for me to see drug use around the complex. I also witnessed a man hit a dog with his closed fist, a man smack a woman with kids in plain sight and a all-out brawl in the courtyard near my building. On top of those things, the parking is pretty strict. They will tow your car for any reason they can see fit to do so. I should also state, the West Palm Beach police have a "substation" there, which allows them full access in the interest of "safety." There's a reason for this. They got new management in February and are better, but the manager speaks very little English. There was one time I was in the office and she assumed I didn't know Spanish and proceeded to talk about me to the other woman in the office who also spoke very little English. They also don't fix things in a timely fashion, if at all. Although, the maintenance staff is friendly and helpful if you need them. I had a roach problem about two months before my lease was up and I told them about it. When I was moving out I found about six roach colonies throughout my apartment. They were everywhere. There are also numerous apartments in this complex infested with black mold. I had more sinus infections and breathing problems in the year I lived there than I have my entire life. Stay away from this place.
